Andiamo Ginger Ice Cream
milk can be infused with fresh mint leaves instead of fresh ginger...

Required Ingredients

Cuppeeled, sliced fresh ginger
egg yolks
1 ¼Cupsugar

Preparation Instructions

  1. put sliced ginger in milk and heat until almost boiling; strain
  2. beat yolks with sugar until light and fluffy; slowly pour strained hot milk over yolk/sugar mix continuing to beat until all milk is incorporated
  3. cool mixture and freeze in an ice cream freezer to proper texture
