Required Ingredients

½Poundimported swiss
½Poundimported gruyere
Tablespooninstant blending flour (or potato flour)
Pinchwhite pepper

Preparation Instructions

  1. Method 1: Toss together the dry ingredients and the cheeses. Rub pot with clove of garlic. Bring wine to very low boil. Add cheese mixture and stir until cheese is melted and blended smoothly. Add Kirsch.
  2. Method 2: Rub pot with clove of garlic. Mix shredded cheese and wine together having both at room temperature. Put over medium heat and stir until cheese is melted. Make a thin paste of flour, salt, pepper and 4-6 Tablespoons of wine. Gently stir into melted cheese mixture until desired thinkness. Add Kirsch if desired.
