This is the frosting that Jane always asked for for her birthday cake....on choc cake
Required Ingredients
| 1 | Cup | Light brown sugar |
| 2 | Tablespoon | Butter |
| ¼ | Cup | Milk |
| 1 | Tablespoon | Light corn syrup |
| ¼ | Cup | Crisco |
| ¼ | Teaspoon | Salt |
| 2 | Cup | Confectioner’s Sugar |
| 3 | Tablespoon | Hot milk |
Preparation Instructions
- Combine first four ingredients and cook to hard ball stage 250 deg F
- Cream together the next 3 ingredients and add the hot milk
- Pour the creamed ingredients from step 2 over th cooked ingredients from step 1and beat until smooth and thick enough to spread
