This is the frosting that Jane always asked for for her birthday cake....on choc cake

Required Ingredients

CupLight brown sugar
TablespoonButter
¼CupMilk
TablespoonLight corn syrup
¼CupCrisco
¼TeaspoonSalt
CupConfectioner’s Sugar
TablespoonHot milk

Preparation Instructions

  1. Combine first four ingredients and cook to hard ball stage 250 deg F
  2. Cream together the next 3 ingredients and add the hot milk
  3. Pour the creamed ingredients from step 2 over th cooked ingredients from step 1and beat until smooth and thick enough to spread
